We would like to include all the things we learnt in MOI year 1, freshmen year aka foundation year through a video that show the making of scene. Therefore we show the progress of the making. We set our final product as Music Video because Shameer propose this idea of a song ‘Falling for Cindermaya’ which is composed by his friends and going to mix by Shameer. Basically, its selling point is original and most teenagers like it.

In this video, we tried to cover all modules leant and expressing it by producing it. Content of the video is mainly by interview which is somehow like a documentary. But we make use of visual on the making instead of showing the interviewee talking throughout. Well this method can help to make documentary not as boring and help to cover those jump cut due to redundant dialogue.

Basically as for the music video, the final product has a different colour tone which we hope to suit the genres and design movements of surrealism and romanticism. As for the audio, it is recorded in different medium and we hope the audio sound professional because we adjusted it for a number of times.

In this video, I am trying to make everyone contribute and not to be left out. I would like this video being part of member’s memories and achievement than an assignment to accomplish. This inspiration on breaking member’s in to role came from our pre=production stage. We plan together, we came out with many ideas but we don’t know which to go for, until it come to a point where member’s start to link them together which result to be no link or out of point. This had been a greatest issue where we have different perspective and most member’s prefer to stick to their ideas. It soon slow down our progress and everyone tired on thinking other possible solution. Sometime I think we need to give in and respect the ability of each member. I truly believe that we all have different ability and capable of doing different thing because no one in this world is perfect. Just use your observation skill to find out a suitable role which they will be comfortable, confident, and happy to do it.With the role given to members, I make everyone a leader and we shall listen to their decision made. I let Shameer in charge in audio as he requested it and I see his ability on such area. Chii Terng surprisingly have the same idea with me most of the time, therefore I am safe to have him as the Art Director. He seen to have such interest during the visit on Victric Terng, he showcase his work and Chii Terng commented with his feeling, I see a passion and interest within. Lastly for Janice, she is quiet in this group, she have his own thinking, and whenever she see problem during planning, she keep quiet as she don’t have supporting reason to express her feeling. Therefore I role her as an assistant beside me, so that I am able to listen from her problem and generate it before announcing or taking action. She also have this interest and ability to observe people, therefore she is the right person to work with as another eye. She also helps me in terms of coordinating the group while I am not around. Overall this video seen to have different style put forward and I prefer to be in this way hoping member’s feel much more appreciated in the group.
